We’re recruiting for an Electronics & Instrumentation Technician to join a leading engineering and R&D facility in Peterborough.
This is a hands-on role supporting advanced test and development programmes, offering exposure to calibration, fault-finding, preventative maintenance, instrumentation, and facility upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
Calibration and maintenance of precision instrumentation
Fault finding and breakdown support
Building and upgrading instrumentation panels
Preventative maintenance of test equipment and facilities
Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic schematics
Supporting equipment upgrades and commissioning activities
What We’re Looking For
Electrical/Electronic apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience
Experience with calibration, instrumentation, and fault finding
Ability to read electrical/electronic drawings and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Team player with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
Desirable
HNC in an Engineering discipline
Test facility or test cell experience
18th Edition knowledge
Root Cause Analysis experience
