This is a key position within the business, responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, producing management information for the Partners and ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s internal accounting processes.

About You
You will be an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in internal finance operations and management reporting.
You will bring:
Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting processes
Excellent systems skills, including experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Experience within a professional services or accountancy environment would be advantageous.
About Your New Role

Prepare monthly management accounts for Partner review
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial data
Complete control account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Process supplier payments in line with internal controls and approval procedures
Support Partners with financial reporting and analysis
Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
Often
Produce ad hoc financial reports and management information
Support payroll and finance administration activities
Monitor cashflow and financial performance
Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of finance operations
Utilise finance and CRM systems to maintain accurate records and reporting
Occasionally
Assist with process improvement initiatives
Support system enhancements and reporting developments
Contribute to finance-related projects as required
Provide additional support to Partners and senior management on financial matters
