Senior Associate / Experienced Associate Solicitor, Commercial Real Estate

Our client, a highly regarded and established law firm, is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Solicitor to join its Belfast office at Senior Associate (or Associate) level.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded property lawyer to take on a varied and high-quality caseload, advising an impressive client base across both Northern Ireland and England & Wales. The successful candidate will play a key role within a well-established team, working on a broad range of commercial real estate matters while enjoying genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role
You will advise on a diverse portfolio of commercial property transactions, acting for a range of clients including developers, investors, lenders, occupiers and corporate entities. The work will span both Northern Ireland and England & Wales jurisdictions, offering exposure to complex and high-value matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations and renewals
- Property aspects of corporate and banking transactions
- Development and regeneration projects
- Real estate finance work
- Asset management and portfolio transactions
- Providing strategic, commercial advice to clients across a range of sectors
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 yrs PQE, admitted in either NI and/or E&W
- Strong experience in commercial real estate gained within a reputable practice
- The ability to manage transactions independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills
- Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- A desire to contribute to the continued growth and success of the team
