Talent Curve are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join a growing engineering business delivering maintenance, service and project work across Northern Ireland.
This is a field-based role offering plenty of variety, working across a range of industrial and infrastructure environments. You’ll be joining a well-established team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering support to long-standing clients throughout the province.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance, repair and installation work on customer sites across Northern Ireland
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime
- Supporting planned maintenance programmes and project work
- Completing service documentation and reports
- Providing a professional service while representing the company on-site
- Participating in an on-call rota following your initial training and induction period
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a recognised apprenticeship
- At least a couple of years’ post-qualification experience in a maintenance, service or fitting role
- Strong mechanical fault-finding ability
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently when required
