A high-growth technology business is building a high-performance commercial team to lead the next phase of growth in its fleet risk intelligence solution. We are hiring two Business Development Representatives to drive new business pipeline across the UK and Ireland.
This is not a traditional BDR role. It is a structured, commercially intelligent business development position designed for ambitious professionals who want to build a long-term career in B2B sales. The technology operates in live vehicles and real-world environments, supporting proactive risk management and enabling fleet managers to:

THE ROLE
As a Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility is to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities opening doors for the senior sales team across target accounts in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage structured target account lists across defined verticals
- Lead research-driven outbound activity across phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Initiate professional, insight-led conversations with Fleet Managers, Operations Directors, Health & Safety Leaders, and Business Owners
- Conduct structured discovery conversations focused on safety risk, insurance exposure, and operational efficiency
- Rigorously qualify opportunities against the company’s ideal customer profile
- Book well-prepared, commercially relevant meetings for senior sales
- Maintain disciplined pipeline and activity management within Salesforce
- Represent the business professionally at sector events and industry forums
This role is measured on opportunity quality and pipeline contribution not call volume.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 24 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or a commercial role
- Confident engaging senior operational and commercial stakeholders
- Understands that sustainable pipeline requires structure, consistency, and commercial judgement
- Comfortable with outbound engagement values intelligent conversation over scripted outreach
- Ambitious and motivated to progress into a field sales or account executive role
- Takes ownership of preparation, standards, and results
