Health Care Assistant – Sleep-In

First Option Healthcare is currently recruiting for a compassionate & proactive Healthcare Assistant to join the rapidly growing team in Bury St Edmunds!

Here at FOH we have a great opportunity to work one on one with patients in their family home. We are looking for staff who want to work 2x 24 hour shifts a week – 08:00am to 08:00pm (24 hours – 8 hours sleep in). Flexible to cover weekends as well.

Job Requirements

• Brain injury experience.
• Seizure management and epilepsy (preferred, not mandatory).
• Full UK driving licence (mandatory).
• Full aptitude to take on the information and training from the therapists.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures.
• Supporting clients outside of the home where required, e.g., medical appointments.
• Caring for patients within their own home and building a rapport with family members.
• Ensuring care plans and other information are followed and any changes are escalated to clinical leads efficiently and safely.
