About the Service
Fernery House is a community-based house in Burnham-on-Sea providing residential care for autistic adults. Our safe low‑arousal environment and caring and experienced staff help people realise their potential and work towards increased independence in the community.
About the Role
We are looking for caring and reliable Bank Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
- Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
What We’re Looking For
- An inspiring positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people
- Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential
- Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome
As a bank worker, you will be able to pick and choose the shifts that you work, and services have a mixture of hours that can include evenings and weekends.
Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is preferred.
