Apprentice Employability Support Worker

Fixed term for 2 years.

Are you passionate about helping people reach their potential and find meaningful work? We’re looking for an Apprentice Employability Support Worker to join our team and support residents across Torfaen to access training, employment and development opportunities.

This is a rewarding opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while working towards a recognised qualification, helping people take positive steps into work.

What you’ll do

  • Support engagement and enrolment of participants onto employability programmes
  • Assist with initial assessments, documentation and providing advice and guidance
  • Deliver excellent customer care to individuals accessing support
  • Update and maintain records on internal systems and CRM databases
  • Respond to enquiries via phone, email and social media
  • Support the coordination of services and referrals with partner organisations
  • Assist with monitoring participant progress and ensuring compliance with programme requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good ICT skills (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • A positive, reliable and professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a supportive environment
