As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing. Working alongside teachers and school staff, you will help create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Assisting children with additional learning needs and SEND requirements
- Encouraging positive behaviour and participation in lessons
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources
- Contributing to a safe, nurturing and inclusive school environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- A patient, positive and supportive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability across different school settings
