About This Role
We are looking for a committed and conscientious individual who will provide in‑class support or work with small groups of students with Special Educational Needs to help them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence, competence and independence. This is an entry level role with opportunities to develop within the role and to progress internally when opportunities arise. School‑based experience is desirable, but not essential.
The hours are 31 per week over 5 days. Normal working hours are: 8:35am to 3:10pm, Monday to Friday (finish at 4:00pm on Wednesday), working term time plus one week, 39 weeks per year.

- Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to relate well with students and staff
- Teamwork and understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities
- Encourage students to learn and inspire a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage student behaviour and challenge underperformance
