Hade Edge J I & N School is looking for a highly effective teaching assistant to join its committed team of staff. We are a smaller than average primary school catering for children between 3 and 11 years old.
In the role of Activity Support Worker you will have the chance to make a positive impact on our pupils by providing a range of activities both indoors and outdoors after school, Monday to Thursday at our after school club. This is an ideal role for people wanting to work part time or who are looking to gain experience in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Encourage and develop pupils’ social skills.
- Lead and organise activities and games both indoors and outdoors with pupils.
- Use informal discussion and play situations with pupils to encourage good relationships.
- Organise and prepare snacks for pupils.
