Poppleton Ousebank Primary School is seeking to appoint a warm, energetic, and responsible Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking team, working 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Lunchtime is a crucial part of our school day. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to making this time a safe, enjoyable, and engaging experience for all pupils. You will play a vital role in encouraging positive play and fostering good social skills in our vibrant, local community.

Main Purpose of the Role

  • Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and classrooms during inclement weather.
  • Engaging with pupils, facilitating, and encouraging fun, active, and social playground games.
  • Maintaining a safe, caring, and orderly environment for all children.
  • Promoting healthy eating and good manners in the dining room.
