Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Part‑Time

Commencing: September 2026

Salary: FTE £25,583 per year (approx. £19,220 pro‑rata)

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm)

About the Role

The role is to provide classroom support to pupils.

About You

  • Experience working with children and/or as a teaching assistant
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Cooperatively works and communicates clearly with colleagues, parents and pupils
  • ‘Can‑do’ attitude and initiative
