- is keen to learn and develop their practice
- has previous experience working with SEND children in a formal capacity, being a positive role model, demonstrates a constructive, caring and energetic approach to the education of children and raising attainment and standards
- has significant commitment and interest in supporting SEND pupils, meeting their varied needs
- is flexible to the demands of the SEND pupil, adopting required strategies whilst ensuring the best interests of the child are met
