Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while working towards a recognised qualification. As an apprentice you’ll work alongside experienced colleagues learning job‑specific skills and working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Digital Skills for Business.
As a Legal Apprentice we want you to bring all your energy, enthusiasm and bright ideas to support the important work of our Legal Services Property and Development Team, who look after the Council’s Local Land Charges Register and carry out legal work in relation to land and buildings within the Borough.
You will get involved in interesting areas of work including helping digitise Council legal records, learning how to keep the local land charges register up to date and assisting our lawyers in carrying out legal work.
The experience gained will be invaluable for anyone looking to develop a legal career in areas related to land and property. In addition to working directly with the Legal Team, we provide structured training towards a Digital Skills for Business qualification, a nationally recognised qualification, together with work‑related experience.
The post is based in a friendly team where you will receive excellent support and on‑the‑job training. You’ll gain valuable work and life skills to help you launch a career in your chosen field.
