Senior Residential Support Practitioner – Children’s Services

£14.50 – £15.00 per hour (DOE) + £50 per sleep‑in.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Practitioner to help shape and grow our new home.

You’ll lead shifts, support and develop colleagues, and deliver high‑quality, trauma‑informed care that helps young people thrive. Working alongside the management team, you will be a positive role model, contribute to team development, and support the supervision and progression of Residential Support Practitioners where delegated.

This role includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep‑ins as part of a flexible shift pattern.

Willowhaven will provide a safe, nurturing environment for up to two young people aged 4‑17, enabling highly personalised care and support tailored to each child’s individual needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience leading shifts or supporting colleagues within a residential care environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
