IT Support Technician Manchester City Centre | Hybrid (post’‘probation) £30,000 DOE | Permanent | Flexible Start/Finish Times Time Recruitment
In the Manchester office of a long‑established law firm, the IT Support Technician handles first and second line support across the business.
The role involves:
- Providing remote and face‑to‑face support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Installing and configuring new equipment
- Maintaining the printer fleet
- Supporting business‑wide projects, deployments, and upgrades
- Offering general user assistance and technical advice
- Primarily based in Manchester with occasional travel to Liverpool
Key qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience in a similar IT support role
- Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of networks, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication systems, and hardware
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bonus: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365, AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK.
