Job Title: Construction Teacher

Salary: £150-£230 per day
We are recruiting a dedicated Construction Teacher for a specialist SEMH Alternative Provision in East Heckington, North Lincolnshire. The setting provides a supportive and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and employability skills through a personalised curriculum designed to meet their individual needs.
Responsibilities
The successful Construction Teacher will work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with SEMH needs, delivering engaging vocational construction lessons while promoting positive behaviour, practical skills development, and student achievement across the curriculum.
Qualifications
- QTS, QTLS or a Level 5 Teaching Qualification
- Experience teaching Construction or vocational studies
- Experience working with Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 students
- Experience supporting students with SEMH needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, resilient and proactive approach
