About the Job

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties

Key responsibilities

  • Processing and maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Completing intercompany account reconciliations
  • Assisting with payment runs and supplier queries
  • Support with preparing management accounts and year-end accounts
  • Preparing project costings
  • Undertaking general administrative and accounts support tasks as required

Previous experience

  • Previous experience working in a busy office environment
  • Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or currently studying your ATI (Desirable) or Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience Using Sage – Desirable
  • Microsoft Excel
