Wills & Probate Solicitor | 3+ PQE | Greater ManchesterA long-established law firm in Greater Manchester is seeking a Wills & Probate Solicitor to join its private client team. The firm serves individuals and families across the local area and operates from multiple offices. The successful candidate will carry a varied caseload covering the full range of private client work, take responsibility for supervising the wider team.A driving licence and access to a car for business use are required, as attendance at other offices and home or nursing home visits form part of the role.The RoleRunning a caseload of wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, and estate administration mattersTaking instructions from clients including elderly clients and bereaved familiesDrafting wills, LPAs, and testamentary trustsSubmitting applications to the Probate RegistryAdvising on Court of Protection mattersConducting home visits and attending nursing homes to take client instructionsSupervising the team to maintain quality and consistency of workContributing to the development of the Bolton office and building a client followingWhat the Firm Is Looking ForQualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in wills, probate, and estate administrationSound technical knowledge of LPAs, testamentary trusts, and the Mental Capacity ActSTEP qualification or progress towards it is advantageousDriving licence and access to a car for business useStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage a team and work independentlyEmpathetic and professional approach when dealing with clients in difficult circumstancesWhat Is on OfferSalary negotiable depending on experienceVaried and rewarding private client caseloadSupervisory responsibility with genuine scope to develop the officeProgression opportunities for a motivated and self-driven candidateEstablished team and supportive working environmentAusten Lloyd Limited is a specialist legal recruitment agency operating nationally.
