Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ashbourne. This is a hands‑on role within a production and warehouse environment, supporting the preparation, handling and dispatch of specialist components used within industry.

This position offers excellent long‑term opportunities, with full training provided and scope to progress into skilled roles within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing components into storage containers ready for dispatch
• Labelling products accurately to meet customer and distribution requirements
• Assisting with the movement of materials within the warehouse and production areas
• Supporting general warehouse and production activities as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Training & Progression

As you become established in the role, you will receive further training including:

• Operating production machinery
• Development into more technical and skilled positions within the site

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is desirable
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a physical environment
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small team
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
