A major hedge fund, expanding rapidly in London, are looking to make a newly created senior level IR hire.
The firm have a lean IR team in Europe, that partner global fundraisers closely. The European Head of Investor Relations is looking to hire a ‘number 2’ that can sit between her and the London based analysts in the team. The new hire will take ownership of a high-profile book of clients, manage marketing support initiatives / be the point of contact for fundraisers regarding production of marketing materials and he/she will shadow the Head of IR more broadly being trained to take on a wider set of her current responsibilities – the focus of the role is to free up her time to focus on firmwide projects (that the hire would also have the opportunity to be involved in).
Candidates should have roughly 8-12yrs experience in buy-side investor relations / marketing support roles. Outstanding communication skills and relationship management skills are a pre-requisite. Our client also has a strong focus on academics, industry qualifications and tech skills, regardless of experience.
The role is projected to pay a £200-250k TC, however as it is a newly created position our client is open to suggestions.
