Overview

Ward 9 is a 33‑bedded, busy medical ward with specialities in gastroenterology and cardiology, including an 11‑bedded inpatient oncology/haematology suite. It is Gold Standard accredited for high‑standard end‑of‑life care and follows our commitment to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, nutrition and fluid management to patients.
• Report to and support the registered nurse.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Follow infection prevention guidance.
