Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain stock levels within the Pharmacy department.
- Assist in the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for pharmacy and other departments using electronic systems.
- Support the pharmacist in dispensing controlled drugs.
- Participate in quarterly stock takes within the pharmacy department.
- Perform date checks as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the department.
- Assist with general dispensing duties as required.
Qualifications
- NVQ2 or equivalent in pharmacy services (prior hospital experience preferred).
- Previous pharmacy experience.
- Hold a Buttercups (or equivalent) qualification in Pharmacy Services.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Motivated to provide a high‑quality service and passionate about the role.
- Shows initiative.
