Overview
Howbury House is a 32-bed residential home for people who need care and support and are living with dementia. The home is registered with the Care Quality Commission and we are expanding our permanent staffing levels.
Responsibilities and Qualities
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Work as a team member, while also taking initiative independently.
- Respect the rights and dignity of older people, treating them as individuals.
- Support day-to-day activities and promote residents’ well‑being.
Shift Pattern
- Hours range from 20 to 26.75 hours per week.
- Standard shifts: 07:30‑15:30, 15:30‑22:00, 08:00‑21:00.
- Shorter shifts for lesser hour posts: 08:00‑13:00, 17:00‑21:00.
- All vacancies include alternate weekends and bank holiday working.
