Higher Lane is a 4‑bedroom adults home located in Rainford, St Helens. The home offers sensory play, film watching, baking, music, arts and crafts, and access to college for further education. Residents enjoy local walks, public transport, swimming, beach trips, nearby farms, and shopping trips to develop independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support, including personal care, activity facilitation and encouraging independence.
- Maintain accurate records of needs, support provided and progress.
- Create a warm, stimulating environment and work a mix of day shifts and night or overnight shifts as required.
- Mentor, advocate, and encourage residents, helping them achieve the best outcomes.
- Collaborate with the support team to create a safe, positive and empowering environment.
Qualifications & Attributes

- Positive, proactive attitude.
- Resilience and strong teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Care experience helpful but not essential; full training and support will be provided.
Safeguarding Requirement
