We are a regional service center supporting Gulfstream aircraft on multiple lines.
About The Role
The Interior Fitter role will work with our interiors group. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys very hands‑on work. Interior fitter experience is preferred in aviation, homes, boats or high‑end experience together with tooling and materials experience. The fitter will need to be able to access data and interpret manuals and engineering drawings.
Education And Experience Requirements
Previous aviation experience.
Position Purpose
The Interior Fitter-I works under supervision to remove/install aircraft interiors using company operating procedures, technical data and quality standards.
Job Description – Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely perform the removal, installation and maintenance of aircraft interiors (including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and vanity ledge fill panels). Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with repair‑station procedures, internal and regulatory paperwork, signoffs and quality specifications. Specific fit and installation tasks are completed in compliance with work order instructions and specifications.
- Removal, installation and replacement of soft furnishings including carpets.
- Repair and trimming of interior products.
- Use the computer tracking system to create parts demand and raise defect cards.
- Follow SOPs when using tools and equipment such as hand tools and power tools. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.
- Comply with safety, 6S and general housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.

- Assist other departments as required.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
