Production Mechanical Assembler

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients who are currently seeking a Production Mechanical Assembler to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full time, permanent basis.

Role Summary

Perform general production duties including, but not limited to, fitting and general assembly of a variety of standard and bespoke engineered products in accordance with relevant technical and quality documentation.

Main Responsibilities

• General assembly.
• Mechanical assembly.
• Material preparation.
• Manual handling.
• Comply with all health and safety and quality policies at all times.
• Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.

Person Specification

• Ability to understand assembly diagrams and instructions.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and substances such as screwdrivers, drills, spanners, glues, sealants.
• Ability to do repetitive tasks for long periods of time.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week.
• Overtime available.
