- Friday: 07:00 – 12:00

The Role
Working within a skilled team of technicians, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of Boxer military vehicles and associated sub‑assemblies.
Key duties include:
- Final assembly of armoured vehicles and sub‑assemblies
- Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical fault finding
- Vehicle maintenance and repair activities
- Interpretation of technical drawings and work instructions
- Diagnosis of hydraulic, pneumatic, and software‑related faults
- Updating work records and documentation using SAP
- Ordering parts and equipment as required
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
- Supporting training and knowledge sharing across the team
- Working closely with production, engineering, and quality departments
About You
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or Electrical Fitter
- Relevant City & Guilds, NVQ, or Electrical qualification
- Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (desirable)
- Experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, or heavy engineering
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental procedures
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
