In this role you will report directly to the Head of Machine Shop and work closely with an experienced machinist to further develop your skills. You will operate a variety of manual woodworking machines, select appropriate materials, and interpret technical drawings to ensure the highest standards of precision, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
The Role
- Shadowing senior members
- Operating manual machinery to create precise components
- Reading technical drawings to understand requirements
- Selecting suitable materials
Monday to Friday, 8 – 5:30
The Person
- Background in woodworking or joinery
- Experience using a wide range of manual machines
This is a full‑time position.
