Evenings: 16:00 – 21:00, 5 hour shifts Weds, Thurs or Fri

Weekends: 09:00 – 21:00, 12 hour shifts Saturday or Sunday

Rate of pay:

Evenings: £13.32 per hour

Weekends: £13.79 per hour

We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive Support Workers to assist an independent young lady with Cerebral Palsy to live her best life both at home and in the community. We are offering the right person a long term and permanent position subject to satisfactorily completing a probationary period.

You will be working in an established team of 8 support workers and will always be working with another member of the team on a 2:1 basis. You will provide support to maximise independence both at home and in the community.

Knowledge or experience of working with someone with Cerebral Palsy or PEG experience, is an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.

Duties will include assisting with meals, both orally and via PEG, bathing, personal care, administering medication and various domestic duties. Knowledge of hoisting and using slings. A Motability car is available for trips out on weekends and for holidays.

This position is open to women only as the role includes providing personal care – GOC rules apply.

We are offering both full and part time hours.

Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
