Position: Support/Care Worker – Permanent, full‑time (37.5 hours per week) – located in Leyland, Lancashire (PR26 7AS). Salary: £12.85 per hour. Ref. No: 11823.
Job Summary
As a Support Worker at Lifeways, you will help adults with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health needs live independently and confidently. Your work will have a meaningful impact on each individual’s life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred support tailored to individuals’ needs.
- Encourage independence and promote wellbeing.
- Support daily routines, hobbies, and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate records and follow personalised care plans.
- Assist with life skills such as cooking, money management, and social interaction.
- Participate in activities like crafts, karaoke, swimming, shopping, and day trips.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Full‑time, 37.5 contracted hours per week, Monday to Sunday. Shifts available between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm with rotational patterns: days, evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins. Flexibility is essential.
