Maintenance Operative in WF1

Job Description

TXM Recruit is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer in Wakefield to work on a large distribution site for one of the UK’s leading retail distribution companies. This role is a temporary contract lasting 3+ months, with potential to become permanent if successful.

Hourly Pay and Hours

• 37hr week on a 7am to 3pm basis.
• Hourly pay rate (PAYE) is £14.01 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays.
• Contractors may have the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.

Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)

• Fire alarm testing
• Legionella testing
• Fire door checks
• Emergency light testing

Reactive Maintenance

• General repairs across the site
• Painting, laying floor tiles or changing ceiling tiles, repairing door handles
