Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen Fitter role based in the South East. The Kitchen Fitter will be responsible for installing fitted kitchens to a high standard according to technical drawings and specifications. The Kitchen Fitter will be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment, complete all required documentation, and represent Symphony Group in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in kitchen fitting, carpentry, or joinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and installation specifications accurately.
- Competence in using hand and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, fixing, and finishing.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve on-site fitting issues, including adjustments and modifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with site teams.
- Understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites, with a commitment to safe working methods.
- Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel to various sites across the South East.
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., NVQ or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery) & CSCS skilled card.
- Experience working with housebuilders, social housing providers, or in a similar installation environment is an advantage.
