Teaching Assistants & Senior Teaching Assistants Needed – SEN & SEMH Schools

Pay: £92.59 – £130 per day (dependent on experience) Full-Time | Term Time Only
We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants and Senior Teaching Assistants for SEN and SEMH schools across Croydon.
These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Support behaviour, communication, and emotional wellbeing
- Encourage student participation and independence
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
- A patient, adaptable, and resilient attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine interest in SEN and SEMH education
- Individuals who are proactive, reliable, and supportive
Previous experience within education, care, youth work, or support work is beneficial but not essential.
