Location: Salford. Start Date: September 2026. Pay: £100–£115 per day. Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity.

Cover People are working with a supportive and welcoming primary school in Salford who are looking to appoint a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Teaching Assistant or HLTA who is confident leading groups, covering lessons and supporting pupils across the primary age range.

The Role

• Covering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Delivering pre-planned learning activities
• Leading interventions and small group work
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs
• Working closely with teachers and senior leaders
• Maintaining strong classroom and behaviour management

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA qualification or significant classroom experience
• Previous experience within a primary school setting
• Confident leading a class independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Positive, proactive and adaptable attitude
• DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
