SEMH STEM Teacher – Secondary (Permanent)Location: Liverpool (L8)Salary: £31,000 – £42,000 (dependent on experience)Start Date: September 2026

Teaching Personnel Liverpool are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist SEMH trust and an alternative provision in Liverpool (L8), who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teacher of STEM subjects for secondary-aged students on a permanent basis.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated STEM lessons to secondary students with SEMH needs
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, promoting both academic and personal development
  • Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support student progress and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has proven experience working within SEMH and/or SEND settings
  • Confident teaching STEM subjects at secondary level
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach
  • Committed to supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their full potential
