Benefit is Glowing and growing. We are currently searching for a part‑time Counter Manager to make real connections in Boots Doncaster. As a Counter Manager, you will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and creating exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate Brow and Beauty Experts to hit and exceed sales goals, ensuring high service standards and inspiring the team to maximize performance.
- Provide waxing, tinting, and tweezing services to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, leading to repeat appointments and increased service revenue.
- Connect with customers daily, demonstrate products with passion and consistently achieve individual sales targets, contributing to overall counter goals.
- Conduct engaging daily team meetings, promote open communication, and recognize achievements to keep the team focused on crushing individual and counter targets.
- Develop innovative in‑store and external events through strategic linkups, collaborations, product launches, and charity initiatives to boost sales and brand awareness.
- Ensure the counter is always fully stocked, monitor inventory levels closely, and report concerns to the Area Manager to minimize lost sales opportunities.
- Act as a key communicator between store/department managers and area managers, ensuring important information flows smoothly.
- Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual administrative tasks to support the Area Manager and ensure smooth store operations.
- Create fair and effective monthly staff rotas that optimize coverage and support sales goals.
- Maintain exceptional hygiene and housekeeping standards for the counter and displays, ensuring a visually appealing and professional shopping environment at all times.

- Passion for makeup and retail with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Result‑oriented, enjoys a challenge and exceeding sales expectations.
- Desire to provide a unique customer experience that drives loyalty and repeat business.
- Flexible availability including weekends, late nights, bank holidays, and holiday periods.
- Minimum 2–4 years of prior customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment and a passion for sales success.
- Minimum 6 months of management experience.
