Role and Responsibilities
- Long‑term position within a supportive secondary school in Cardiff.
- Opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.
- A varied timetable including PE lessons and general cover across multiple subjects.
- Deliver pre‑set PE lessons and supervise practical sessions safely.
- Provide general classroom cover when required across different departments.
- Maintain a structured, positive and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to ensure consistency and engagement.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong behaviour management is essential.
- Confident working across a mixed timetable (PE + general cover).
- Experience working with secondary‑aged pupils (school‑based or similar setting).
- Comfortable leading practical PE sessions as well as classroom‑based learning.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing daily requirements.
