We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in meal preparation
- Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
- Ensure all food served meets the establishment’s presentation and taste standards
- Support junior kitchen staff and provide guidance where necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Experience in meal preparation across various cuisines is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good understanding of kitchen equipment and hygiene practices
- Previous experience working in a busy restaurant setting is preferred
- Ability to serve guests courteously and professionally during service periods
