SEND Maths Teacher – Leeds

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a Maths Teacher to join a dedicated SEND school in the Leeds area on a long‑term basis.

The full‑time post is due to start immediately, with shortlisting currently taking place. This SEND school is recognised for its nurturing, inclusive ethos and its commitment to providing personalised learning that enables every pupil to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering differentiated Maths lessons to pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Working closely with support staff to create a positive, structured and accessible learning environment
• Using assessment and individual learning plans to track progress and adapt teaching accordingly

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Maths to pupils with SEND
• Strong knowledge of differentiation, adaptive teaching and inclusive classroom practice
• Two education or school‑based references
