Part 2 Architectural Assistant Location: Berkshire Salary: £28-34,000

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of bespoke residential projects across multiple RIBA stages
  • Prepare design packages, planning submissions, and technical drawings
  • Assist with the development of interior design concepts, finishes, and material selections
  • Produce high-quality visual presentations and client-facing documentation
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors
  • Attend project meetings and contribute ideas throughout the design process
  • Assist with detailed design development and technical coordination
  • Contribute to sustainable and innovative design solutions

Skills & Qualifications

  • RIBA Part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant
  • Previous experience within the UK residential sector, ideally on high‑end private residential projects
  • Strong design flair with a keen eye for detail, materials, and spatial quality
  • Interest in architecture and interiors, with interior design experience considered advantageous
  • Excellent graphic, presentation, and communication skills
  • Organised, self‑motivated, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks is beneficial
  • Interest in sustainable design, with knowledge of Passivhaus principles, CGI, rendering, or AI visualisation tools viewed favourably
