RS Safety Solutions is a PPE division of RS Group, focusing on PPE, Hygiene and Workwear products for the Food Manufacturing sector in the UK and Ireland.
What you will be doing
This role involves maintaining and expanding the portfolio of new business opportunities within the Food Manufacturing sector, selling add‑value products and meeting a pre‑agreed sales budget.
- Liaise with senior contacts to secure new business wins.
- Identify and manage a portfolio of new business targets.
- Deliver against a pre‑agreed sales budget.
- Sell added value within a portfolio and increase where required.
- Research target sectors and product ranges to add opportunities to the pipeline.
- Collaborate with colleagues and suppliers to support the role.
- Identify potential targets, develop product ranges, expand to associated sectors, cold call, network with suppliers.
What you need to be successful
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven track record of delivering significant new business wins over a sustained period, ideally in a similar environment.
- Experience of delivering on an ambitious target and demonstrating pipeline execution.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage onboarding of new wins, liaising with partners to ensure a smooth transition.
- Ability to manage a seamless transition when handing over the contracted customer to an Account Manager.
