Account Executive
Location: Manchester (hybrid)
Salary: £25,000-£30,999 depending on experience
PR Agency One is growing and we’re looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join our team.
This is an opportunity to work on award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s most ambitious organisations while developing your career at one of the UK’s leading independent PR consultancies.
We believe PR should do more than generate coverage. Our approach, Creative Effectiveness, combines creativity, media relations, social media, influencer engagement, SEO and measurement to deliver meaningful commercial outcomes for clients.
Working across technology, healthcare, finance, retail & FMCG and the built environment, you’ll support campaigns that span the UK and international markets through our One Network partner network.
What you’ll do
* Build relationships with journalists, influencers and industry stakeholders
* Draft press releases, comments, features, award entries and media materials
* Support media outreach and secure coverage across national, consumer, trade and business media
* Monitor the news agenda and identify opportunities for clients
* Assist with influencer campaigns and social media activity
* Support research-led campaigns and thought leadership programmes
* Contribute to campaign reporting and evaluation using our OneEval framework
* Attend client meetings, media events and campaign activations
What we’re looking for
* Previous PR, communications, journalism or marketing experience
* Strong writing and communication skills
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Curiosity about media, current affairs and communications
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Confidence working as part of a team
