Business Development Specialist – South East

Role Purpose

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for generating new business opportunities across the South East region by identifying prospects, building relationships with key decision-makers, and securing qualified client meetings

This is a highly proactive, client-facing role focused on opening doors, creating opportunities, and supporting the Group’s growth strategy. Working closely with the sales and operational teams, the Business Development Specialist will build a strong pipeline of prospects through networking, prospecting, and face-to-face engagement.

The role requires regular travel across the South East, attending client meetings, networking events, and industry functions. A full UK driving licence is essential

Key Responsibility

  • Identify and engage prospective customers within target sectors
  • Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the wider sales team
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, LinkedIn engagement, and client visits
  • Develop relationships with Facilities Managers, Estates Teams, Property Managers, Managing Agents, and Asset Owners
  • Represent the business professionally at meetings, events, and industry forums
  • Maintain accurate records and activity within the CRM system
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline activity and opportunity generation

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in business development, lead generation, appointment setting, or field sales.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South-East

Desirable Experience within Facilities Management, HVAC, Building Services, Property, or Technical Service sectors.
