Relationship Manager – Development Finance

Location: London Hybrid | Progression | Complex Deals | No Sales Targets

The Relationship Manager – Development Finance Role

Once a deal is agreed in principle by a Lending Director, you take full ownership — from credit analysis and structuring through to completion. You’ll manage all stakeholders and processes to get deals over the line.

Relationship Manager – Development Finance: Key Responsibilities

  • Own deals post-terms agreed by Lending Directors
  • Conduct credit analysis and viability assessments
  • Draft and present credit papers
  • Restructure deals as needed
  • Manage all stakeholders from approval to drawdown
  • Coordinate KYC, AML, and regulatory checks
  • Ensure deals meet Credit Committee terms
  • Work closely with Lending, Portfolio, and Risk teams
  • Maintain high service standards with brokers and clients

Relationship Manager – Development Finance : Required skills and experience

  • Experienced in credit analysis and development finance
  • Background in mainstream banking or similar lending environment
  • Comfortable with deal sizes £1m–£35m
  • Strong attention to detail, communication & organisation
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience
  • London-based (Wed & Thurs office days preferred) — open to remote for strong candidates
