Job description Incident Response Operator – Day ShiftsLocation: Lurgan, County Armagh Pay Rate: £ per hour Hours: 42 hours per week, 7:00am-7:00pm Shift Pattern: Four days on, four days off Contract: Full-timeBenefits£ per hourHoliday payDays-only shift patternOvertime opportunitiesFree on-site parkingFull training providedCareer development and progression opportunitiesAbout the RoleStaffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a Control Room Operator to join Mitie’s team in Lurgan.As a Control Room Operator, you will monitor alerts from high-value vehicles, communicate with vehicle owners and manage incoming and outgoing calls from clients. You will use specialist monitoring systems to track vehicles, report incidents and ensure all required compliance standards are met.This role would suit someone with strong customer service and communication skills who can remain professional while working in a busy, fast-paced control room environment. Full training on the contract’s specialist systems will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage alerts from high-value vehiclesCommunicate alerts and relevant information to vehicle ownersManage incoming and outgoing client telephone callsMonitor vehicles in real time and follow incident-reporting proceduresAccurately record information using specialist monitoring systemsMaintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling client informationWork closely with colleagues and clients across the UKFollow ISO 27001, health and safety and compliance proceduresMeet individual performance targets and KPIsStay up to date with system changes and proceduresEssential RequirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong telephone manner and customer service skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisation and workload-management skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointWillingness to learn and developProfessional and reliable approach to workFive-year checkable employment historyAbility to successfully complete the required PSNI and industry-standard screening checks…
