Project Manager – Cyber Security & AI

We are seeking an experience project manager to drive the delivery of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions that improve detection, response, and risk management for a major financial services organisation in London.

Key Responsibilities Include:

End-to-End Delivery

• Manage delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple initiatives.
• Lead Agile or hybrid delivery processes with clear progress reporting.
• Translate security priorities into actionable backlogs and phased releases.

AI Cyber Use Cases

• Support security operations through alert triage, enrichment, and prioritisation.
• Enable advanced threat detection (e.g., anomaly detection, behavioural patterns, phishing/malware analysis).
• Enhance vulnerability and identity management using risk-based insights.
• Deliver GenAI-enabled capabilities such as analyst support tools and automated investigation summaries, with appropriate safeguards.

Data & Engineering Alignment

• Coordinate with engineering and data teams to ensure robust data pipelines, access controls, and quality.
• Support secure deployment of models and ongoing monitoring for performance and drift.

Risk & Responsible AI

• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain required documentation (e.g., model validation, risk assessments, audit trails).
• Implement safeguards for AI use, including data protection, monitoring, and human oversight.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Establish governance structures, reporting routines, and escalation paths.
• Communicate outcomes, risks, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Oversee third-party contributions where applicable.

Value Delivery & Adoption

• Define and track success metrics (e.g., detection speed, accuracy, efficiency gains).
• Enable operational readiness through training, documentation, and handover.
• Continuously improve solutions based on performance data and user feedback.

Required Skills

• Proven experience delivering complex cyber and/or AI initiatives at scale.
• Strong understanding of security operations and controls.
• Knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle and model deployment practices.
• Experience working within regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with security platforms and telemetry data.
• Understanding of threat modelling and secure AI practices.
• Experience delivering enterprise GenAI solutions with controls.
• Exposure to cloud security and data governance.
