Job Description:

Leaf HOSPITALITY is seeking a commercially minded and people-focused General Manager to lead one of our hotels.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is an opportunity for a hotel leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while improving overall business performance.

As General Manager, you will have responsibility for the operational and financial performance of the Hotel & Spa, leading the senior leadership team and ensuring every department is aligned to deliver outstanding service, strong commercial results and a positive team culture.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous senior hotel leadership experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or Operations Manager within a quality hotel environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience driving revenue growth and business performance.
  • Significant Food & Beverage, banqueting and Spa experience.
  • Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
  • A track record of developing, coaching and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with owners, colleagues, guests and the local community.
  • A hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operation and performance of the hotel.
  • Inspire, coach and develop the senior leadership team.
  • Drive commercial performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, forecasting and business planning.
  • Lead regular business reviews and performance meetings.
  • Oversee major events and key operational activities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel within the local market and community.
