Our client is a profitable global player in the QSR / fast food industry, with operations across more than 20 countries. The business has grown through a combination of organic expansion, franchising, and strategic acquisitions, and continues to pursue an ambitious international growth agenda.
As part of its continued expansion, the company is appointing a CEO International to lead its international business and drive the next phase of growth across multiple regions.
The successful candidate will oversee all markets across EMEA, the Americas, the Middle East, and selected countries in Asia Pacific, with responsibility for overall business performance, market expansion, brand growth, franchise development, operational excellence, and organisational capability.
The Role
The President International will be responsible for shaping and executing the international strategy of the brand. This executive will lead the growth agenda across existing and new markets, strengthen the company’s competitive position, and build the leadership, operating model, and commercial discipline required to scale the business globally.
This role requires a senior business leader with a strong track record in growing and transforming businesses within the QSR, fast food, food service, or consumer food sectors. The successful candidate must bring strong general management capability, full P&L experience, franchise and multi-market leadership exposure, and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, business partners, and country teams across diverse geographies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be a seasoned international business leader with:
- Strong general management experience with full P&L accountability.
- Proven leadership experience in QSR, food service, multi-restaurant, or consumer food businesses.
- Track record of leading multi-country or multi-regional growth, preferably across Asia Pacific, North America, or other international markets.
- Experience in business expansion, transformation, franchising, and new market entry.
- Strong brand-building, commercial, operational, and organisational leadership capability.
- Ability to work effectively with Boards, business owners, senior executives, franchisees, and strategic partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong execution discipline, and the ability to lead in complex, fast-growing environments.
- Multilingual capability would be an advantage.
Location
Preferred locations include Hong Kong, Singapore, or the West Coast, United States. Relocation may be required depending on the successful candidate’s current location. Regional and international travel is expected at 50%.
